Dandelion is one of many bounties that nature provides to us in the spring.
Dandelions are resilient and are on the list of most unwanted yard plants for many. However, they offer a lot of health benefits and even potential treatment for several types of cancer. I listed some studies for your references. The flowers have mild pain -relieving properties making them an excellent addition to a tea. The tea also detoxifies and cleans your blood. Dandelions are generally safe for most people, but if you have active gallstones, are on diuretics, are pregnant, nursing or on medication, check with your family doctor or pharmacist before consuming internally. If you’re allergic to dandelions, do not use them. For those who want to use our natural bounty, enjoy this tea recipe. Just make sure you pick those flowers in a place free from pesticides.
