Since we are all dealing with the impact of the Corona virus on our lives, let’s explore what a virus is.
A virus is inanimate fragment of either DNA or RNA surrounded by a protein that can replicate when taken inside of a host body (mode of transmission). That uptake can be through many different methods such as air, droplets or blood.
Once the virus is inside of the body, it needs to enter inside your cells to replicate. There are many systems put in place in your body that can make the virus unable to enter your cells or get rid of it once inside the cells.
All this work is done by your immune system which is controlled by your nervous system. Your state of mind, activity level, ingested food and belief structure affects how well the system works. You are equipped with an entire army of white blood cells to fight the invader.
Let’s make your bodies inhospitable to that virus.
Step 1. Use your mind to strengthen your immune system. Researchers discovered that by creating a peaceful, loving state of mind, people were able to up-regulate their immune system just by mind power alone.
How?
Find a comfortable place to sit, rest your feet on the ground and strengthen your spine. Straight spine allows for better body function.
- Set a timer for 10 minutes or as long as you would like to do this.
- Rest the tip of your tongue on the upper roof of your mouth and start breathing in and out through your nose with deep long breaths.
- While breathing, focus your attention on your heart while generating the feeling of peace, love and gratitude.
This daily practice in itself, when done on regular basis will strengthen your immune system and get you more immune to any virus or bacteria.
